Jacuticaba
The Jacuticaba (Plinia cauliflora), also known as the Brazilian grapetree, is native to southeastern Brazil. These trees produce grape-like fruits which can be used to make jelly/jam, juice or wine much like a traditional grape. They are commonly eaten fresh in Brazilian marketplaces. The leaves are pink when young, and the tree produces white flowers once to twice a year.
