Ponytail Palm
The Ponytail Palm (Beaucarnea recurvata) is an evergreen perennial tree. It is nicknamed 'Elephant's Foot' due to its sturdy base. The sturdy tree is used to growing in rocky soils and is revered worldwide for its interesting appearance. Despite being called a palm, this is only aesthetically true as it is not a true palm.
